WAAF Assistant Section Leader 1940-1941 (1:12) is a collector's resin figure for experienced modelers, capturing a member of the British women's air auxiliary service in the larger 1:12 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A collector's resin figure in the larger 1:12 scale from Life Miniatures. It is supplied as a resin kit for experienced modelers and collectors, divided into cast parts that must be cleaned up and glued before building. The larger scale gives room for precise painting of the face. A base and accessories are not included, unless stated otherwise.
The figure represents a member of the British women's air auxiliary service WAAF (Women's Auxiliary Air Force) with the rank of Assistant Section Leader from the years 1940 to 1941. The uniform matches the early phase of the Second World War, when the WAAF handled a range of support duties with the Royal Air Force.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut away the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. In the larger 1:12 scale it pays to work the face in detail in oils and to shade the blue-gray uniform finely.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
