A collector's resin bust showing Princess Elizabeth in the uniform of the British Auxiliary Territorial Service (ATS) in 1945, in 1:10 scale from Life Miniatures. The set holds cast resin parts and is supplied unassembled and unpainted. It is intended for experienced modelers and collectors of figures.
The subject is Princess Elizabeth, later the British Queen Elizabeth II, who joined the Auxiliary Territorial Service in 1945 with the rank of Second Subaltern. In that service she went through training in driving and maintaining military vehicles. The bust works out the period uniform and the rank insignia.
First wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut away the casting blocks and dry-fit them. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and wear respiratory protection while sanding. The khaki uniform and the skin can be worked out in oils or acrylics with gentle shading.
It is supplied as an unassembled and unpainted resin kit. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
