A collector's bust in 1:12 scale (a size of about 150 mm) from the South Korean studio Life Miniatures. It is a cast resin model meant to be assembled and painted by the modeler, not a finished figure. The second volume of the Bad Blood subject follows on from the studio's popular fantasy and science-fiction line.
The bust comes from an original fictional subject sculpted by the studio's artists. The bust format concentrates the detail into the face and the chest area, which comes out especially well with careful work on the skin, the hair and the surface textures.
First wash the mold release agent off the parts in lukewarm soapy water, carefully cut away the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); fill any gaps with filler. Sand with respiratory protection. A quality primer is recommended, along with painting with an airbrush and a brush; for the skin and the shading, acrylics, oils and pigments suit well.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
