1:48 Hawker Hurricane Mk.I (Sea Hurricane, Tropical and others) - EXPERT Kabuki Masks (for Airfix Kits)

New Ware Hawker Hurricane Mk.I EXPERT kabuki masks 1:48

An extended set of self-adhesive masking templates in fine kabuki (washi) tape from the Czech brand New Ware for a model of the Hawker Hurricane Mk.I in 1:48 scale (the Sea Hurricane, Tropical and other versions included). Compared with the BASIC version, EXPERT contains masks for further details of the aircraft besides the glazing and the wheels, so it covers more places in airbrush painting. The set is designed for the Airfix kit.

The real subject

The Hawker Hurricane Mk.I was a British fighter of the Battle of Britain period, built in land-based and carrier versions and in a tropical form. Its divided greenhouse-type glazing and a number of small details make masking a time-consuming but essential part of the build.

Use

• Stick the masks onto a cleaned surface and press them down so that they sit on the frames.
• Apply the paint with an airbrush; the EXPERT version lets you mask details beyond the cockpit and the wheels as well.
• Once the paint has dried, remove the masks carefully.
• Suitable for acrylics, enamels and lacquers.

Who the set is for

• Advanced builders of the Hurricane Mk.I in 1:48 scale.
• Modelers who demand the maximum of crisply separated areas.
• Those for whom the basic BASIC range is not enough.

This is a masking set, not an airplane model. The paints, the glue and the kit are not included in the package.
