A set of self-adhesive masks of kabuki (washi) paper, cut precisely to suit the particular kit. It is not a model but an aid for a clean spray job on the canopy frames and the other clear parts. Compared with the basic level, the ADVANCED version also contains masks for the seals and the framing of the glazing, so you can handle the finer details too.
The MiG-21 R is the reconnaissance version of the legendary Soviet supersonic fighter with a delta wing and a single jet engine. It was fitted with pods carrying cameras and sensor equipment for tactical reconnaissance, and the machine served with a number of Eastern Bloc countries.
Place the masks with tweezers, press the edges down thoroughly and spray in thin coats. We recommend spraying the interior cockpit shade first and then the exterior color. Let the paint dry sufficiently before lifting the masks so that it does not peel.
The set contains the masks only. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
