This is not an aircraft model but a self-adhesive masking set for painting a model of the British Hawker Hurricane Mk.IIb fighter in 1:32 scale from Omask. It is an accessory that needs the base kit — the set itself holds no plastic parts. The masks are die-cut and intended for precise masking of the glazing, the wheels and the areas for spraying camouflage.
The stencils allow the canopy framing and other clear parts, the wheels and the areas that are protected from overspray while painting to be masked cleanly. A number of Omask sets (the O-max line) also come with foam (EVA) plugs for the landing gear bays, which simply protect the interior of the bays from paint — check whether they are present against the packaging. The result is sharp edges and less handwork with tape.
Degrease the surface before masking and let the previous coat dry. Transfer the masks into place, press the edges down well against paint bleed and spray with an airbrush in thin coats. Foam plugs (if included) are simply pushed into the bays. Once dry, take the masks off in good time and gently. Check the particular contents and the number of masks against the packaging.
