This is an aftermarket detail set, not a kit. Its basis is thin photo-etched brass parts, which replace simplified plastic elements and add realistic details such as fenders, covers, grilles, loops, brackets and controls. The set is intended for plastic models of the German Tiger I heavy tank in its late production version in 1:35 scale.
The Tiger I (Panzerkampfwagen VI) was a German heavy tank of the Second World War, famous for its powerful 88 mm gun and massive armor. The late production version differs from early machines in details such as all-steel road wheels without rubber tires, revised fenders, a one-piece commander's cupola and other small changes, which Voyager takes into account in the set.
Photo-etched parts are separated with a sharp knife on a hard surface, bends are made on a bending tool or a metal ruler, and the parts are glued with super glue (cyanoacrylate). We recommend working section by section, degreasing surfaces before gluing and painting fine elements only once they are seated. The set is suited rather to advanced modelers.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue, paints and other materials are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
