This is a resin replacement ejection seat from Quickboost (Aires), meant to improve the cockpit of the single-seat SEPECAT Jaguar GR.1 fighter in 1:48 scale. It is not a model of an aircraft but a detail accessory that replaces the simplified seat from the base kit. The seat belts are cast directly on the seat, so folding photo-etched belts falls away.
The SEPECAT Jaguar was a British-French supersonic attack and tactical aircraft. The GR.1 version served with the Royal Air Force in the ground attack and reconnaissance roles. The ejection seat is a feature on show in an open cockpit, and swapping it for a detailed resin one raises the fidelity considerably.
First wash the resin parts in lukewarm soapy water so that the mold release agent is removed. Cut the casting blocks off with a sharp knife or a saw and do the sanding with respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Before painting, degrease the whole and spray it with a primer, which the paints hold on to better.
This is an add-on resin set, not a standalone model. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
