Responsibility details are not available.
A fine resin detail accessory from the Polish maker Panzer Art in 1:35 scale. The set replaces the plastic commander's cupola on the turret roof with one of sharper definition and adds a mount for an anti-aircraft machine gun. It matches the mid production pattern of the cast Tiger I commander's cupola with periscopes. Intended for models of the Tiger I tank.
The Tiger I was a German heavy tank of the Second World War with an 88 mm gun. During production the cast commander's cupola went through several revisions, from a drum cupola with vision slits to a cast type with periscopes and a circular rail on which an MG34 machine gun could be mounted for defense against aircraft. It is precisely this later form with the weapon mount that the set captures.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut away the casting blocks with a saw and glue with super glue. Seat the cupola in the opening in the turret roof, adjusting the opening to the casting if need be. Once painted, a wash and light picking out of the edges with a dry brush will bring the detail to life.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Paints, glue and the base model are not included in the package.
