Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the British carrier-borne F-4 Phantom II fighter in the FG.1 version (Royal Navy) in the small collector's 1:144 scale from the maker Sova-M. The model is supplied as a classic plastic kit with water-slide decals, for assembling and painting. The particular contents of the package and the marking variants follow the given release.
The F-4 Phantom II was an American two-seat, twin-engine supersonic multirole fighter. The version for the Royal Navy (known as the F-4K, in British designation the Phantom FG.1) was a carrier-borne modification adapted for operating from aircraft carriers. It differed from the American Phantoms above all in the use of British Rolls-Royce Spey jet engines, which called for a wider fuselage and reworked intakes; the aircraft also had modifications for British deck equipment and for catapult launching. The FG.1 served with the Royal Navy and later passed to the Royal Air Force as well.
In 1:144 scale the parts are small, so separate them with a sharp knife, clean the flash off with a needle file and glue them carefully with a thin cement for plastic, ideally applied with a fine tip. Apply a primer before painting; with such small areas an airbrush is an advantage for an even finish. Apply the small decals with tweezers onto gloss varnish and seal them with a matte or semi-gloss varnish according to the scheme.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
