A set of mud and snow tracks in the late version for models of the Soviet armored cars BA-3, BA-6 and BA-10 and for the GAZ-AAA truck in 1:35 scale. They are slipped on over the rear bogie wheels.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Soviet armored cars BA-3, BA-6 and BA-10 were based on the three-axle chassis of the GAZ-AAA truck, in which both rear axles were driven. The vehicles were fairly heavy for their chassis and on a muddy or snow-covered road their rear wheels dug themselves in easily, which is why their equipment included tracks that were slipped on over the rear bogie wheels and spread the weight over a larger area.
The set brings mud and snow tracks in the late version for models of the BA-3, BA-6 and BA-10 armored cars and of the GAZ-AAA truck in 1:35 scale. They are slipped on over the rear bogie wheels and give a vehicle the look of a machine ready for autumn mud or for winter. The extent of the package, the placement of the parts and a suitable glue are given in the instructions supplied by the manufacturer.
Cut excess material away with a sharp blade a little clear of the part and sand the remainder off so that the seating surface is flat. Wash and degrease the parts before painting. Seat the tracks symmetrically on both sides and keep checking that the vehicle stands on the base on all its wheels. Dirt holds well in the pattern of the tracks, so it pays to apply the earth from the bottom upward and then only lighten the upper surfaces gently with dust.
The set is for modelers who build Soviet vehicles in 1:35 scale and want their vehicle completed with equipment for heavy going. The contents of the package are the tracks alone; the kit, paints and glue are not part of it, unless stated otherwise.
