Vallejo Model Color acrylic modeling paint, the Reflective Green shade to the FS 34129 and RAL 6003 standards.
Responsibility details are not available.
A Vallejo acrylic modeling paint from the Model Color line, the Reflective Green shade. The name refers to two shade standards: the American Federal Standard under the number 34129 and the European RAL under the number 6003, that is, olive green. The double reference is useful when you build from period documentation or from instructions that give colors only by standard numbers. The first digit in a Federal Standard designation states the degree of gloss, and a three at the beginning means a matte shade.
Model Color paints are thinned with water or with the thinner of the same line, and the thinning ratio should follow the manufacturer's instructions. Shake the bottle well before use so that the pigment settled at the bottom joins with the binder. Apply several thin coats instead of one heavy one and let each dry; a thin coat preserves the fine relief of the surface and does not flood the panel lines or the rivets.
Wash and degrease the model before painting; paint does not hold on a greasy surface. Try the shade on a piece that will not be seen, because once dry it looks different than it does in the bottle. A matte surface is rewarding for weathering but takes decals less well, so overcoat the spot under a decal with gloss varnish first. Wash brushes out while the paint is still wet; dried acrylic paint is hard to get out of the bristles.
The paint is supplied on its own. Thinner, brushes, varnishes and the model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
