S090 Shine Silver - (Metallic) Spray

Gunze Mr.Color Spray S090 Shine Silver (a lacquer aerosol, 40 ml)

A lacquer spray from the Mr.Color line by the Japanese brand Gunze. It is a brilliant, polished silver with a fine pigment - brighter and glossier than an ordinary silver and close to the look of chrome and bare polished metal. A 40 ml can, applied straight from the aerosol without an airbrush.

Use

• Shake thoroughly for 1 to 2 minutes before use - the metal pigment settles to the bottom.
• Spray thin, even coats from a distance of about 25 cm, rather several light coats than one thick one.
• You get the maximum sheen and chrome effect on a smooth, gloss surface (for example a smoothly sanded gloss black).
• Metallic paints are harder to mask and to overcoat - apply them at the end of the build.
• It suits bare metal, wheels, exhausts, chrome trim and also works as a gloss silver base under transparent candy coats.

For modelers who want a bright metallic to chrome look without an airbrush - on cars, motorcycles, aircraft and science fiction models. For protection and depth the silver can be overcoated with a clear varnish, and under candy shades it serves as a brilliant base.

Mr.Color is a lacquer - the solvent can attack bare plastic, so spray in thin coats. Work only in a well-ventilated area or outdoors and use a respirator. Flammable, so do not spray near open flame. In damp or cold there is a risk of the surface whitening (a bloom).
