This is a paint set from the IONIC range and, within it, from the Real Heavy Metal sub-range. The word Set in the name says it holds several containers and is named after the shade Scarlet Red. The exact extent of the package, that is how many containers are in it and what volume they have, is stated by the manufacturer on the packaging.
Scarlet is a bright, clean red with no blue undertone, that is the register a ceremonial cloak or a bold device has. It comes into its own on the uniforms and cloaks of figures, on banners and shields, on the coats of riders, and also on the painted surfaces of racing machinery and on bold markings. Compare the actual tone with the manufacturer's color chart, because a shade shown on a screen always differs a little from the applied paint.
Stir the container thoroughly before picking the paint up. The thinner intended for this range and the thinning ratio are stated by the manufacturer and those instructions take precedence over any general advice. Build a saturated red on a light base; on a dark one it would need more coats and would lose its clarity. Work in thin coats, let the surface dry between them and do not keep spreading the paint, otherwise the first coat lifts. Flush the brush right after work; red pigments wash out of bristles badly and will tint a lighter shade next time.
