Vallejo SFX Frost

A water-thinnable acrylic effect paint from the Special FX line in the Frost version (hoarfrost, rime) in a dropper bottle holding 18 ml. It is not a conventional covering paint but a ready-made special effect: a light, greenish white material that imitates hoarfrost, rime and a coating of ice on figures and winter scenes. Vallejo developed the Special FX line together with professional painters for fantasy and wargaming projects.

Use

  • Apply with a brush to edges, raised parts and surfaces where rime and a coating of ice are to form.
  • Ideal for winter dioramas, ice creatures, frozen weapons and cold effects.
  • Layering lets you control the intensity, from a fine dusting to heavier rime.
  • Water-thinnable, non-toxic, odorless; the brush is cleaned with water.

For figure painters, gamers and diorama builders who want to finish winter, icy and frosty effects convincingly on fantasy or science fiction models.
