Camouflage spraying stencils from Royal Model are intended for spraying patterns onto 1:35 scale tank models and can be used in other scales as well. It is not a kit.

An aid, not a model. The set contains stencils that separate the painted area from its surroundings while you spray with an airbrush and let you lay down a regular pattern without going over it by hand. It was created above all for 1:35 scale tank models, but given the nature of the patterns you will use it elsewhere too.
Spraying by eye invites the pattern to drift gradually, so that it ends up looking different on the two sides of the vehicle. A stencil holds the shape and the spacing, so the result looks like a factory-applied finish. It comes into its own with regular patterns and fine structures, where masking tape would take disproportionately long. Because it is an aid that you do not use up, you will come back to it on further models.
Anyone who paints with an airbrush and wants clean, repeatable patterns will value it, whether they build one model a year or a whole cabinet. For beginners it makes easier a step that is otherwise a source of disappointment, and for experienced builders it saves time on masking.
Paints, thinner and an airbrush are not supplied with the aid. Work in a ventilated space while spraying and protect your airways.
