ST-01 Mr.Cotton Swab (50 pcs)

Gunze Mr. Cotton Swab ST-01 (50 pcs)

A set of 50 modeling cotton swabs from the Japanese brand Gunze (Mr. Hobby). These are not ordinary cosmetic swabs from a drugstore: they have a firm, precisely shaped pointed tip of lint-free cotton and they are resistant to thinners and solvents, so they do not fall apart or shed fibers while you work with modeling chemicals. ST-01 is the standard size for ordinary modeling work.

Use

• Wiping off excess panel line color and wash, so that the color stays in the scribed lines and recesses and comes cleanly off the surrounding surface.
• Touch-ups and evening out the edges of paint or varnish.
• Spreading and cleaning pigments, polishing small areas.
• Cleaning small spots, applying and taking off small amounts of material.

Who they are for

• Modelers who bring out detail with panel line colors and washes.
• Anyone who needs swabs that resist thinners and do not shed fibers.
• For the finest work in tight spots we recommend the ST-03 Extra Fine set; the two sizes complement each other well.

An aid for modeling work. Keep out of the reach of small children.
