Super Clear III UV Cut Flat is a clear protective coat in a spray can from Gunze. It leaves a uniform matte (flat) finish and additionally contains a UV filter that limits the fading of paints and decals caused by ultraviolet light, whether from the sun or from artificial lighting. It serves as a final protective layer: it shields the painted surface of the model and the applied decals against dust, abrasion and fading. It is a solvent-based lacquer intended primarily for the Mr. Color range; it is not a paint but a protective clear coat.

Use

• Shake the can thoroughly before use and make a test spray away from the model first
• Spray from a distance in several thin coats, letting each one flash off, which prevents blushing and runs
• Ideal as a final matte layer over a painted model and dried decals, unifying the sheen of the whole surface
• Do not spray in a very humid environment or too heavily, or the matte layer may go cloudy
• Before applying it over decals or acrylic paints, test the compatibility in a hidden spot and work in thin coats
