Vallejo True Metallic Metal BASE Amber Green

Amber Green is a base metallic tone from the True Metallic Metal (TMM) line by the Vallejo brand. A water-thinnable acrylic with a fine metallic pigment gives the surface the look of a warm amber green metal alloy. The TMM line is a system: every family has a BASE tone (full coverage), a LIGHT highlight, a satin non-metallic SHADE and an airbrush variant. BASE is the carrying coat of the effect. The package holds 18 ml.

Use

• Shake the bottle thoroughly before use, because the metallic pigment settles to the bottom.
• The best effect comes on a smooth, dark base, ideally over a black or dark primer.
• It is applied by brush and by airbrush; it is thinned with water or with Vallejo acrylic thinner.
• Apply metallics rather at the end, because they are harder to mask and to overspray.
• You can deepen the effect with the LIGHT highlight and the satin SHADE of the same family.
