Vallejo True Metallic Metal SHADE - Celestial Violet

A colored metallic shade from the True Metallic Metal (TMM) line, the SHADE sub-line. It is a heavily pigmented, water-thinnable acrylic metallic ink with a glossy surface that is layered over a base metallic and tints it without suppressing the metallic sheen. The Celestial Violet shade is a cooler blue-violet tone for candy effects and colored shading. It comes in a dropper bottle of 18 ml. In the TMM system it combines with the base (BASE), the light (LIGHT) and the airbrush version.

Use

• It is laid on as a translucent colored overcoat over a glossy metallic base coat for a blue-violet candy effect.
• It can be thinned with water or with a medium for finer shading and for running into the detail.
• It preserves the metallic sheen of the base and does not dull it.
• Shake thoroughly before use, as the pigment settles to the bottom.
• Lay colored and metallic coats on rather at the end, as they are harder to mask and to overspray.
