A set of acrylic paints from the Model Color range by the Spanish manufacturer Vallejo, put together for Soviet armored vehicles and infantry of the Second World War. Model Color is a thicker, water-thinnable acrylic paint in dropper bottles, intended primarily for brushing. For an airbrush it has to be thinned, as unthinned it is too thick to spray. It is not a kit or an accessory to a model but a consumable for painting.
It suits a modeler who is starting out on military vehicles and does not want to build a palette up shade by shade, and an experienced builder as a way of filling in missing colors. The set makes the most sense when you are building a vehicle together with its crew or a small diorama, because the shades for the vehicle and for the figures come from one range and behave the same way. The paints have to be shaken thoroughly before use, as the pigment settles.
The paints are water-thinnable acrylics. Store them at ordinary room temperature out of the reach of children, close the bottles carefully after use and, when spraying with an airbrush, work in a ventilated space with respiratory protection.
