Responsibility details are not available.
A set of forty-four unpainted figures of Confederate infantry, in 28 millimeter size. The figures are in hard plastic and multi-part: bodies, heads, arms and weapons are glued separately, so you put the poses and the weapons together as you like. For an army that never had uniform equipment, that means you can build a unit in which no two men are the same.
Confederate infantry suffered from the start from a shortage of cloth, boots and rations. A gray uniform was laid down, but in practice home-dyed cloth in yellow-brown tones prevailed. The soldiers carried a minimum of kit, often just a blanket rolled over the shoulder instead of a knapsack, and boots were routinely taken from fallen opponents. It is precisely this lack of uniformity that is characteristic of the Southern army.
Separate the parts from the sprue with nippers at a distance and trim the rest with a knife. They are glued with ordinary modeling cement for polystyrene. Apply a primer. Mix the shades across a range from blue-gray to yellow-brown and vary them markedly between the figures, as a single color would be historically wrong.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
