This is not an airplane model but a set of seat harnesses of photo-etched steel for the Hawker Hunter T.7 and T.7A kit in 1:32 scale from the maker Revell. The series code corresponds to the smaller version that Eduard lists under the Zoom designation: it is a selected and pre-painted part of the range, so the harness comes with the color already on it and the modeler only shapes it and seats it.
A seat harness modeled in plastic looks as if hewn from stone, because fabric and metal buckles are the thickness of paper in scale. A photo-etched steel harness is thin, it can be bent and thrown over the edge of the seat and by its own shape it gives away that somebody sat in the cockpit. And that look of the seat is the first thing to catch the eye on a finished model with an open cockpit.
Cut the parts out of the sheet on a hard surface; do not break them out with your fingers. Make the bends in a bender or between two blades so that the edge comes out sharp and the same along its whole length. They are glued with cyanoacrylate, that is, super glue; apply it with a pin, not straight from the bottle. Before painting, degrease the metal and give it a primer for metal, otherwise the paint will not hold on the smooth surface. The plastic part the set replaces usually has to be sanded away first.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted as photo-etched metal. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
