Kubelwagen Type 82 - Big Set 1:35 from Black Dog is the more extensive resin set of equipment and cargo for the German light cross-country car. This is an accessory, not a kit of the car.

A cast resin set of accessories for the German Kubelwagen Type 82 light cross-country car in 1:35 scale from the Czech maker Black Dog. The big set designation means the more extensive version; for the same car the manufacturer also offers a smaller basic set. The parts are added to the interior and to the outer surfaces of a finished model. As base kit it names the Kubelwagen Type 82 from Tamiya. The set itself is not a model of the car.
The Kubelwagen Type 82 was the most widespread light cross-country car of the Wehrmacht. It was built on the chassis of the people's car with an air-cooled four-cylinder engine at the rear, drive to one axle and reduction gears in the hubs. It was produced from 1940 until the end of the war, served in Africa, on the Eastern Front and in western Europe, and saw dozens of field modifications.
First rinse the resin parts in lukewarm soapy water to remove the mold release residue. Cut the casting blocks off with a fine-tooth saw rather than snapping them. Sanding is better done under water or with respiratory protection. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); solvent cement for plastic will not hold on resin. A primer is needed before painting. With a larger set it pays to lay the parts out dry first and only then glue them.
The accessory set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
