Responsibility details are not available.
A resin figure of a German airman from the Second World War in 1:32 scale from the Czech maker Black Dog. The N 2 designation means the second of two separate figures on the same subject; beside them the manufacturer also offers a set with more characters. The figure is supplied unpainted and unassembled and suits a large aircraft model or an airfield vignette.
The kit of German airmen of the Second World War consisted of a flight suit or a cloth blouse, a life vest, a parachute harness and a hood with goggles. Bomber and fighter crews dressed differently, and an airman in Africa looked quite unlike one over the Baltic. In 1:32 scale such a figure is large enough that it pays to work up even the buckles and zips; at the same time, beside a model aircraft it shows its true size well.
Wash the figure in lukewarm soapy water, cut the casting blocks off with a fine-tooth saw and glue with cyanoacrylate glue. Spray a primer before painting. Matte shades suit the flight suit, while a slight sheen suits the leather kit; refine the face with oil paints.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
