This is a detailed set of wheels for the M15 trailer in 1:72 scale, not a kit and not the wheels of the tractor. The manufacturer gives the content as eight complete wheels, 3D printed and supplied unpainted. They serve as a replacement for the wheels from the base kit and offer finer tires and wheel discs.
The forty-ton American combination for hauling tanks came about by joining the M26 tractor, nicknamed the Dragon Wagon, and the M15 semi-trailer; together they were given the designation M25. The tractor had six wheels, and the M15 trailer stood on eight wheels - and it is precisely that number the set covers. The earlier M9 trailer ran on twenty-four small wheels and did badly off road, so the new design was given fewer wheels but noticeably larger ones.
Remove the printing supports carefully and clean up the contact surfaces so that the wheel stands straight; protect your airways when sanding. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue and apply a primer coat. Do not paint the rubber pure black, as a gray-black shade looks more faithful. The tread will stand out after a light dry brush and dust pigment at the contact surface.
This is an accessory for a model, not a kit. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
