A 3D-printed resin set of ammunition for German 37 mm anti-aircraft guns in 1:35 scale from GINGER CAT. The manufacturer gives forty pieces in the package and names the Flak 18, Flak 36, Flak 37 and Flak 43 weapons, which fired identical ammunition. The rounds are placed around the firing position, in boxes or in the hands of the crew.
German 37 mm anti-aircraft guns went through several generations over twenty years: from the Flak 18 through the Flak 36 and 37 to the markedly simplified Flak 43. The carriage, the mechanism and the rate of fire changed, but the caliber and the round stayed the same, so one set of ammunition served them all. This 37 mm family was the mainstay of German low-altitude air defense and appeared on a towed carriage, on trucks and on armored carriers.
3D-printed parts are small and brittle: separate them with a fine-tooth saw or with nippers and level the remains of the print supports with a fine file. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); solvent cement for plastic does not hold. Before painting, spray a thin coat of primer, as a heavy coat would drown the detail.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
