Responsibility details are not available.
A 3D-printed resin set of ammunition boxes for the German 37 mm Flak 18 anti-aircraft gun in 1:35 scale from GINGER CAT. The manufacturer gives eight pieces in the package. The boxes belong to a firing position and can be placed open or closed, stacked or strewn about.
The Flak 18 was the first German 37 mm anti-aircraft weapon built in large series, introduced before the war. It had a heavy carriage and a lower rate of fire than the later versions, yet even then it used up a considerable quantity of ammunition in action, so the crew had boxes of rounds ready at the gun. Eight boxes make it possible to play out a whole scene: some stacked in a trench, some open at the gun, some set aside.
3D-printed parts are small and brittle: separate them with a fine-tooth saw or with nippers and level the remains of the print supports with a fine file. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); solvent cement for plastic does not hold. Before painting, spray a thin coat of primer, as a heavy coat would drown the detail.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
