F and G in the pattern of the 5th Panzer Regiment. It is a detail accessory, not a kit of the vehicle. The manufacturer makes two versions and they differ in the pattern of the brackets, so compare photographs of the vehicle you are building before you buy; this is version 2.
The 5th Panzer Regiment came to North Africa with the 5th Light Division and went on fighting with the 21st Panzer Division. Its Panzer III Ausf. F and G belonged to the tropicalized vehicles with strengthened filtration and cooling. Spare track links on the hull front and on the superstructure had a double purpose: with them the crew could repair a broken track, and at the same time they added a few millimeters of steel to the armor, which the crews never turned down.
Wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water. Cut the print supports off with a sharp scalpel and level the pads with a sanding sponge, protecting your airways while sanding. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue), as cement for plastic does not hold on resin. Paint the tracks a dark steel and let them take dust and rust, but keep the edges lifted with graphite or a metal pigment, so that the whole bundle does not merge into one unreadable area.
This is an accessory for the model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
