Responsibility details are not available.
A 3D-printed resin set of plants in 1:35 scale from GINGER CAT: Alocasia odora. The manufacturer gives six pieces in the package. The plants are supplied unpainted, so the shade of the leaves and the degree of withering are decided by the modeler according to the climate and the period the scene portrays.
Alocasia odora is a tropical plant with large heart-shaped leaves on long stalks, which for their shape are called elephant ear. It grows in East and Southeast Asia and is among the plants that place a scene in the tropics at once, so it suits dioramas from the Pacific, from Vietnam or from Southeast Asia in general. The large leaves are clearly visible on a model and take careful work: the veining stands out after a dark glaze is wiped off the surface.
3D-printed parts are small and brittle: separate them with a fine-tooth saw or with nippers and level the remains of the print supports with a fine file. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); solvent cement for plastic does not hold. Before painting, spray a thin coat of primer, as a heavy coat would drown the detail.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
