The basic photo-etched set in 1:35 scale for the German light armored personnel carrier Sd.Kfz. 250/3 Greif. It is not a model of the vehicle or a complete kit but a collection of fine photo-etched metal parts that replace and refine details of the plastic base model: the fittings of the hull, clamps, hinges, equipment brackets and elements of the radio equipment.
The Sd.Kfz. 250/3 was the command and radio version of the light half-track carrier Sd.Kfz. 250, fitted with a radio set and a conspicuous frame antenna. The vehicle carrying the name Greif became famous as the command vehicle of General Rommel during the campaign in North Africa. The half-track chassis gave the vehicle good mobility across country.
Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp knife and bend them on a photo-etch bending tool. Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Finish the interior and the equipment before closing the hull up; pick out the fine fittings with a wash and dust the surface with pigments for a desert patina.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue, paints and other parts are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
