A figure of a Sherman tank driver in 1:35 scale from the Ukrainian brand Spalah. 3D-printed resin, supplied unpainted.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a single figure, not a set: the driver of an American tank crew from the range the manufacturer calls Best job i ever had, in 1:35 scale. The manufacturer uses the eastern term mechanic-driver; in an American crew he was simply the driver. The figures are 3D-printed from photopolymer resin by the Ukrainian brand Spalah, which intends them to be placed on the armor of an M4A3E8 Sherman tank.
The driver sat in the left front of the Sherman hull and had his own hatch. He steered with two levers controlling each track separately, so turning meant braking one side. His only view was through a periscope or an open hatch, which is why he appears in pictures taken on the march with his head out, whereas in action he was left to his instruments.
Wash the print resin residue off the figure, cut the print supports away and sand the marks with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). On resin a primer is a must. Try the fit in the hatch or on the armor dry before painting. The leather items, the coveralls and the goggles come to life with a dark wash and a fine dry brush.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
