Toys I, 1:35 by Plusmodel: twenty-one resin parts and a fret of photo-etched parts for civilian scenes. It is not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A child's toy dropped in the rubble or in a yard is one of the strongest elements a diorama can have: without a single word it says that war passed through here and that people lived here before. The set contains twenty-one resin parts and a fret of photo-etched parts, a combination that makes it possible to capture even very thin pieces such as frames, wheels and handles. It is not a vehicle kit but an accessory for a scene.
According to the manufacturer the package contains twenty-one resin parts and a fret of photo-etched parts. Paints and glue are not included. The resin parts have to be cut from the casting blocks.
First wash the resin parts in lukewarm soapy water so that the mold release residue disappears from the surface, otherwise the paint will not hold. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw and true the surfaces up with a file, and sand with respiratory protection. Degrease the photo-etched parts and prime them. Both are bonded with super glue, that is cyanoacrylate. Paint the toys in rich, varied colors: it is precisely the contrast against the gray of the rubble that gives the scene its effect. Suggest wear by rubbing the paint back on the edges.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
