Workable tracks for the Panther, late type is an add-on track set in 1:35 scale from Bronco. It is not a tank model but a replacement for the tracks on a kit that is already built.

A set of workable plastic tracks for the German medium tank Panther in 1:35 scale from Bronco, in the form for the late type of track. It is not a vehicle model but an add-on for a kit that is already built: the individual links join into a track that stays movable and can be shaped over the road wheels.
The Panther had a wide track to offset its high weight, and interleaved road wheels, between which the track is clearly visible. The pattern of the link changed during production: the early form had a different arrangement of the transverse ribs and a different shape of guide horns from the late one. The difference is noticeable on a model, because on the Panther the track makes up a large part of the side of the vehicle. The manufacturer therefore supplies the early and the late form as two separate sets.
Deburr the links carefully and sand the seam lines down before you start joining them. Apply a thin cement and only at the points indicated, so that it does not run into the joints and destroy the movement. Count the number of links you need from the instructions before you close the track up. Paint the track separately from the hull, adding rust in the recesses and a polished contact face to the dark metallic shade. With the Panther's interleaved wheels the inner side of the track is visible too, so do not forget about it.
This is an add-on set, not a vehicle model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
