Printed tracks for the Pz.Kpfw. 38(t) in 1:35 scale for the Tamiya kit. The small links of a light tank of Czechoslovak origin, with clean relief and no traces of the mold.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of tracks for the Pz.Kpfw. 38(t) light tank, made by 3D printing from resin. This is not a tank kit but a replacement part for a model. On a small vehicle the track is particularly well seen, and it is exactly here that swapping a plastic part for a printed one pays off: the links are small, their profile sharp and the surface without a parting line. The manufacturer has designated the set for the Tamiya kit.
Behind the German designation Pz.Kpfw. 38(t) lies a light tank developed in Czechoslovakia as the LT vz. 38. After the occupation the German army took it into service and deployed it in Poland, in France and on the Eastern Front. The reliable chassis proved itself so well that a whole family of tank destroyers and self-propelled guns was later built on it. The running gear with four large road wheels is among the most characteristic features of the whole machine.
Fit the track only onto a finished running gear. Separate the parts from the print supports, sand down the pads and wash them in lukewarm water with dish soap before painting. They are glued with super glue. For painting, a dark base and rust tones work well, and drybrushing in a steel shade will then bring out the edges of the links.
The set is an accessory to a plastic kit, not a model in its own right. The Tamiya kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
