Responsibility details are not available.
The first of two sets with which Royal Model extends the build of this vehicle. It deals with the surface of the vehicle and with the turret: photo-etched parts replace thin plates and mesh, and resin castings add pieces that are demanding in shape. The instructions proceed picture by picture.
This four-wheel reconnaissance car served from the end of the 1930s in reconnaissance detachments. It carried a 20 mm automatic cannon and a coaxial machine gun in a small faceted turret, open at the top and covered only by a hinged wire mesh against hand grenades. The cannon could be raised high above the horizontal, so the vehicle could threaten low-flying targets too. Its service ranged from Poland through France and North Africa to the east; against armored opponents, however, the vehicle could not hold its own and relied on speed.
Bend the wire mesh slowly and in short sections, so that no sharp crease forms in it. Sort the small parts out in advance by the numbers in the instructions - once they come off the sprue they are hard to find. Prime the metal and only then apply the top shade. The metal here really is fine, so give yourself calm and plenty of light for the work.
It is bought in addition to a plastic kit. Paints and glue are not included.
