An injection-molded plastic kit of the German light armored half-track Sd.Kfz.250 in the early angular Ausf. A version and in 1:35 scale. The 250/7 version was the carrier of a heavy 8 cm mortar, which the crew served from the open hull and which thus gave the infantry fast fire support. The model builds like a classic armor kit; according to the manufacturer it also contains photo-etched parts and a figure. The instructions state the exact contents of the package.
The Sd.Kfz.250 was a German light armored half-track of the Second World War used for reconnaissance, transport and as a general-purpose carrier. The Ausf. A version has an angular, broken-up armored hull. The 250/7 variant carried the heavy 8 cm Granatwerfer 34 mortar, with which it could deliver indirect fire from a protected position and accompany armored and motorized units.
First finish and paint the interior of the hull with the mortar and the running gear, and only then close the hull up. Bend the photo-etched parts exactly according to the instructions. For weathering use washes into the recesses and pigments for mud and dust effects on the running gear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
