A set of two figures of American soldiers in Iraq in 1:35 scale from the Ukrainian brand Spalah. 3D-printed resin, supplied unpainted.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set holds two figures of American soldiers from the deployment in Iraq in 1:35 scale. The box states two figures. The maker is the Ukrainian brand Spalah, which 3D-prints its figures from photopolymer resin. 1:35 scale carries the fine detail that counts with modern infantry: the load-carrying vest with its pouches, the knee and elbow pads, the helmet with its mount and the weapon slings. The figures are supplied unpainted and with print supports.
The deployment of the US Army in Iraq after 2003 is popular with modelers because of its well-documented kit and the strong colors of a desert setting. The kit changed over the years, from older vests and camouflage patterns to later modular sets, so the figures work well with scenes featuring armored cars as well as heavy equipment.
Wash the print resin residue off the figures, cut the print supports away and sand the marks with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). On resin a primer is a must. Build the camouflage pattern on the clothing from a light base toward darker areas, separate the kit with a dark wash and add dusting along the hems with pigments.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
