Sikorsky S-64 Skycrane exhausts 1:35 (QuickBoost) Replacement engine exhausts for the S-64 Skycrane crane helicopter kit from ICM in 1:35 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
Replacement parts for building the Sikorsky S-64 Skycrane crane helicopter in 1:35 scale. The set replaces the exhausts of the turboshaft engines, which on this type are clearly visible on the sides of the fuselage and come out solid in plastic. The box states the S-64 from the Ukrainian brand ICM as the target kit. The QuickBoost brand belongs to the Czech maker Aires Hobby Models.
The Sikorsky S-64 Skycrane is the civil form of the military crane helicopter. The fuselage is reduced to a load-bearing beam, so the machine can sling a load, a water tank or a work cabin underneath it. It was precisely in civil use that the type found a second life: it carries heavy components to construction sites, erects masts and, in a modified form, fights forest fires. The pair of turboshaft engines sits high above the cockpit, and the conspicuous exhausts lead away from there.
Wash the resin parts in warm soapy water before gluing, so that the mold release agent disappears from the surface, otherwise the paint will not hold. Cut the casting block off with a saw or a cutting disc, never with sprue nippers, which will break resin up. Sand the mating surface flat and glue the part with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) or with epoxy, because cement for plastic will not hold here. When sanding resin, use a respirator or sand wet, as the dust is not good to breathe.
This is an add-on for a model, not a kit. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
