A 3D-printed resin set of plants in 1:35 scale from GINGER CAT: succulents. The manufacturer gives nine pieces in the package. The plants are supplied unpainted, so the shade of the leaves and the degree of withering are decided by the modeler according to the climate and the period the scene portrays.
Succulents are plants that store water in fleshy leaves or stems in order to survive periods without rain. They are very varied in shape, from low rosettes to upright columns, and that is exactly why they suit a diorama: nine pieces in the package make it possible to put together a group that does not look monotonous. In color they take more than green, from gray-blue to reddish leaf edges, so they offer rewarding work with glazes.
3D-printed parts are small and brittle: separate them with a fine-tooth saw or with nippers and level the remains of the print supports with a fine file. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); solvent cement for plastic does not hold. Before painting, spray a thin coat of primer, as a heavy coat would drown the detail.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
