Resin latches of the turret stowage bin on the Tiger I in 1:35 scale replace the fasteners that a kit merges with the plate or only suggests. An accessory for a built model, not a kit.

Resin latches of the stowage bin for a model of the German Tiger I heavy tank in 1:35 scale. The bin at the rear of the turret closed with small hinged latches, and it is exactly those that injection-molded kits usually merge with the plate or only suggest. A resin print manages them as separate parts with an outline of their own, so the fasteners on a model read without a magnifier.
The Tiger I, officially the Panzerkampfwagen VI Tiger Ausf. E, entered service in 1942 and remains one of the best known tanks of the war to this day. It carried the 88 mm KwK 36 L/56 and heavy frontal armor, but paid for it with a weight of over fifty tons, high fuel consumption and demanding maintenance. About thirteen hundred were built, an order of magnitude fewer than the Panzer IV. A large stowage bin appeared at the rear of its turret, which the crews took to; modelers know it as the Rommelkiste after the African theater, where the fitting became widespread.
Small resin prints break off easily, so cut them away with a scalpel only at the moment you glue them. Level the mark left by the support with a fine file under water; resin dust is not to be inhaled. Wash the surface with warm soapy water before painting so that no uncured print resin is left on it. Make the joint with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and key the part with primer.
This is an accessory for modifying a model, not a kit of the vehicle. The parts are supplied unpainted; the base kit, the glue and the paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise. Check the exact contents on the box.
