Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the X-62A VISTA test aircraft in 1:48 scale from the Hong Kong brand Kinetic. For this boxing the manufacturer gives newly made parts specific to this machine, including the movable vectoring nozzle of the thrust vectoring system, as well as a sprue of clear parts and decals with American test markings. This is therefore not an ordinary F-16 but a unique machine with a different rear end.
The X-62A VISTA, originally designated the NF-16D, is the single converted two-seat F-16D from Block 30 that the US Air Force uses as a flying testbed. It can imitate the flying qualities of other aircraft and serves for trials of control systems, in recent years above all of autonomous and machine-learned control. What is exceptional about it is precisely the thrust vectoring system, which allows the aircraft maneuvers outside the ordinary envelope.
Glue the plastic with a thin cement for polystyrene. The test livery is striking and depends a great deal on the cleanliness of the transitions, so apply a primer and work with an airbrush, separating the color fields with masking tape. Put a gloss clear coat under the decals so that they do not silver, and seal the result with a satin clear coat. Glue the movable nozzle on only after painting.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
