The Super Étendard is a carrier-borne strike aircraft of French manufacture, developed from the earlier Étendard design and brought into service at the end of the 1970s. It was intended for attacking surface targets and for supporting ground forces from aircraft carriers, and it became known as a carrier of anti-ship missiles. The modernized Modernisé form received a new radar, reworked avionics and a cockpit with modern instruments, which considerably widened the range of its uses. Besides the French Navy, the type was also used by Argentina and Iraq.
First choose the form according to the instructions and set aside the parts that do not belong to it; with dual boxings the most common mistake is exactly that, mixing parts of the two versions. Finish the cockpit and the gear bays before you close up the fuselage. Carrier aircraft show pronounced wear: after the base shade give the surfaces a fine filter, the panel lines a wash and the edges of the walkways and the flaps some chipping. Glue the glazing only after painting.
