A plastic kit of American aerial target drones in 1:48 scale by ICM: a pair of KDA-1 and BQM-34A unmanned target vehicles.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injected plastic kit contains a pair of American unmanned aerial targets in 1:48 scale by ICM. In the package you will find the KDA-1 and BQM-34A targets including their transport trolleys. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted with a decal sheet.
The unmanned targets of the Firebee family came about from the late 1940s as jet targets for air defense training. The KDA-1 type belonged to the first generation, while the markedly improved BQM-34A represented the second generation, which entered production in the 1960s. The targets were either released from launchers or carried under the wings of launch aircraft.
Separate the small parts carefully; the targets can be built on their transport trolleys as if on an airfield. Apply the conspicuous warning colors with an airbrush over a primer, unify the glossy areas and use a gloss varnish before the decals. Finish the transport trolleys off with a light wash.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
