A set of four ammunition boxes to the current North Atlantic Alliance standard, 1:72 scale from Spalah. A resin accessory for dioramas.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a small accessory for dioramas, not a model of a vehicle: a set of ammunition boxes to the current North Atlantic Alliance standard in 1:72 scale. The box states four pieces. The maker is the Ukrainian brand Spalah, which 3D-prints its parts from photopolymer resin. Boxes like these are an inconspicuous but important element in a diorama, because they explain what is going on in the scene: resupply, preparation to fire, or ammunition being brought up right now.
The ammunition boxes of today's armies are metal or plastic, with prominent beads, handles and labels that identify the contents. The dimensions are standardized so that they can be stacked on pallets and into vehicles, so the same boxes turn up in the most varied places, from a depot to a firing position. It is this versatility that makes them a good accessory for many scenes.
Wash the print resin residue off the parts, cut the print supports away and sand the marks with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint the boxes separately and feel free to give each one a slightly different shade, so that the scene does not look as if it came out of one mold. A dark wash will bring out the beads and handles, a dry brush will lift the edges, and wear can be suggested with light touches of a metallic shade.
This is an accessory, not a kit. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
