The set from Rattlesnake contains 3D-printed resin external fuel tanks in 1:72 scale intended for models of the Soviet T-54, T-55 and T-62 series of tanks. This is not a tank kit but a detail accessory with which you dress the fenders and the rear of the hull and give the model the typical look of Soviet armor of the Cold War.
The Soviet T-54, T-55 and T-62 tanks carried a number of cylindrical external fuel tanks on the fenders and at the rear, which markedly extended their range. These tanks are among the most conspicuous recognition features of such vehicles, and on models they are often replaced by a more faithful rendering.
Wash the resin parts in lukewarm soapy water, cut off the print supports and sand the surfaces gently with respiratory protection. Bond them with super glue. Once a primer has been sprayed on, the tanks come out well with a wash, gentle chipping on the edges and dust pigments that suggest wear in the field.
The set is an accessory, not a model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the target kit are not included in the package.
