Responsibility details are not available.
A kit of the twin-engined jet airliner Tu-134 in the late A version, in 1:72 scale. The box states the liveries of two carriers, the Polish LOT and the Soviet Aeroflot. The Ukrainian brand Amodel concentrates on airliners and special-purpose aircraft outside the usual range; with kits of this kind, allow for dry-fitting the parts and filling the joints. The part count and the scope of the package are not stated by the manufacturer.
The Tu-134 was a Soviet airliner for short and medium-haul routes, with the engines at the rear of the fuselage and a T-tail. It came about in the 1960s and became one of the most widespread types in Eastern Europe. The A version had a lengthened fuselage and a higher capacity; the late machines differ from the early ones in details, among them the treatment of the nose, because some of the aircraft carried a glazed navigator's station and others a radar in a conventional nose instead. It is precisely that difference that is clearly visible on a model.
The hardest part is a straight fuselage and a smooth surface, because gloss white forgives no irregularity. Fill the joints, sand them down and spray a primer. Apply the decals over a gloss base and lay the long stripes down wet with a drop of detergent; a decal that has dried will not be straightened out again. Seat the engine nacelles at the rear exactly symmetrically, or the model looks twisted at first glance. Glue the windows and the glazing last.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
