A texture roller with a handle, cobblestones from Green Stuff World. It presses a regular pavement into soft putty in a single pass.
Responsibility details are not available.
A roller with an engraved cobblestone pattern, fitted with a handle. The pattern is pressed into soft modeling putty in a single pass, so that a shapeless surface turns into a cobbled street within a few seconds. Carving the individual setts by hand is hours of work and the result tends to be irregular; the roller solves that problem in one go.
According to its designation the pattern is intended for scales roughly between 1:87 and 1:72 and the size of the element corresponds to fifteen millimeters. The roller is run over a rolled-out layer of putty, for example epoxy modeling putty or clay. You then let the finished sheet cure, cut it to shape and set it into a diorama. The pattern can also be pressed straight into the base of a scene.
Moisten the roller and the putty lightly before pressing, or coat them with a release agent, otherwise the putty will stick. Keep the pressure even and run the roller in one direction. If you are joining surfaces, always start from a finished edge and match the pattern exactly. Clean the roller with a brush pen after work, before the remains of the putty harden.
This is a tool; modeling putty is not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
