Revell Aqua Color Mix, 100 ml

Aqua Color Mix is modeling chemistry, not a paint. It performs two functions at once: it thins the acrylic paints of the Revell Aqua Color line and slows down their drying. That is the key point with water-thinnable acrylics, because fast drying is the cause of a clogged airbrush nozzle and of a grainy, so-called dry spray. A 100 ml bottle lasts a long time even with regular spraying.

Use

• thinning Aqua Color paints for an airbrush, usually around three to four parts of paint to one part of thinner
• slowing the drying when spraying in a warm, dry environment
• reducing hard edges and transitions with matte and satin shades
• slightly extending the time during which the paint can be spread with a brush
• evening out the surface with a paint that has already thickened a little in the bottle

Who it is for

For anyone who sprays Revell Aqua Color paints with an airbrush, and for modelers whose acrylic dries before they manage to spread it. Beware of confusing the lines: Revell enamel paints are thinned with a different product, not with this one. Water will thin an acrylic, but it will not slow the drying and may make the adhesion worse. Always shake both the paint and the product thoroughly before mixing, as with matte shades the flattening agent settles to the bottom and an unshaken mixture gives an uneven surface.

Keep the product out of the reach of children, always ventilate while spraying and protect your eyes, because it may cause serious eye irritation. Keep the container away from heat and sources of ignition.
