Fine Surfacer Primer L Light Gray

Tamiya Fine Surface Primer L Light Gray – Spray Filling Primer (180 ml)

A light gray fine filling primer (surfacer) from the Tamiya Fine Surface Primer line, in a large size L can with a capacity of 180 ml. It prepares the model's surface for painting — it improves paint adhesion, evens out the base, and, thanks to its fine filling component, fills in small scratches and imperfections. The light gray shade is a good universal base, especially under lighter and vivid colors.

Use

• Applied as the first coat on a cleaned and degreased model surface.
• Suitable for styrene (polystyrene) and ABS plastic, and can also be used on metal parts.
• Spray in thin coats from a distance; let it dry between coats.
• Once dry, the primer can be sanded (even wet-sanded) for a perfectly smooth base.
• It highlights any scratches or seams that can still be fixed before painting.

Who it is for

For modelers who want a quality, even base under the paint without necessarily using an airbrush. The light gray primer is appreciated by anyone building aircraft, armor, cars, or figures who wants reliable adhesion for the final colors.

A solvent-based primer — flammable. Use outdoors or in a well-ventilated space, with a respirator and away from open flame.
